Serving beyond Sunday.
Our community ministry has grown naturally from the experiences of people within our congregation. Many know personally what it means to arrive in a new country, establish a new life, navigate unfamiliar systems and build a new community.
Starting life in a new country can be exciting, but it can also be challenging. Our community has traditionally helped newly arrived individuals and families through friendship, connection and practical assistance.
Transport can be one of the biggest barriers to participating in church and community life. Golgotha is working to strengthen its ability to help people access church activities, community programs and opportunities for social connection.
Strong communities need strong young people and strong families. We invest in activities that encourage connection, confidence, leadership, faith and positive relationships.
Sometimes the most important support is simply knowing someone is there. Our church provides opportunities for people to build friendships, celebrate together, share meals, participate in activities and support one another.
